National Business Education Association (NBEA) in San Antonio, TX, March 19-21, 2008. NBEA is the nation's largest professional organization devoted exclusively to serving individuals and groups engaged in instruction, administration, research and dissemination of information for and about business. NBEA is committed to the advancement of the professional interest and the competence of its members and provides programs and services that enhance members' professional growth and development.
ACTEA 2008 Technical Assistance Conference in Albany, NY, March 26-28, 2008. In cooperation with the Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE), ACTEA promotes and monitors Career and Technical initiatives in New York State, and maintains professional standards among personnel involved in Career and Technical Education in New York State.
American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Annual Convention in Philadelphia, PA, April 5-8, 2008. AACC represents and advocates for more than 1,200 associate-degree granting institutions enrolling more than 12 million students - almost half of all U.S. undergraduates. Key purposes of AACC are to promote the sound growth of community and junior colleges, and to create an atmosphere conducive to learning.
