DUTIES:

• Invoice submission to accounts payable for outside costs related to intraoperative neurmonitoring (IONM)
• Provide front desk customer service
• Complete charge capture via correct CPT code assignment for both technical and professional fee components of all WRC-Neurodiagnostic procedures performed based on analysis of provider documentation and order specificity
• Utilize up-to-date Medicare Fee Schedule for correct assignment of professional fee charges
• Prepare professional billing summaries and check requests as needed
• Serve as liaison to contract physician group for questions related to charging
• Employ EPIC reporting tools and Microsoft Excel to monitor and project department volumes
• Serve as departmental EPIC Super User advising and assisting physicians and staff in aspects of EPIC use such as order modification and addendum creation, working directly with system analysts as necessary to promote departmental end-user functionality
• Educate staff on all EPIC departmental workflow processes
• Collaborate with departmental director in the development of departmental policies and procedures, strategizing and implementing quality improvement processes
• Provide timely and accurate transcription of intraoperative neuromonitoring dictation using 3MHIS
• Other duties as assigned
