ADJUNCT FACULTY IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS

Strayer University is seeking part-time adjunct faculty qualified to teach CIS500, INFORMATION SYSTEMS FOR DECISION MAKERS for the FALL 2015 term beginning October 5, 2015. This position would require one with a terminal degree.

NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ONLINE POSITION.

• Master of Information Science

To teach graduate Information Systems:

• PhD of Computer Science
• PhD of Mathematics in Computer Science
• PhD of Science in Information Technology
• PhD of Engineering in Computer Science
• PhD of Computer Science
• PhD of Science in Information Technology
• PhD of Software Engineering
• PhD of Computer Information Systems
• PhD of Computer Engineering
• PhD of Information Systems
• PhD of Information Science

NOTE: Specific experience in the discipline and certifications preferred in areas related to Microsoft server technologies, web design, project management, C++, Java, Computing security, Computing forensics, and Technology governance. Associated certifications may include CompTIA, CEH, CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, CIW, MCITP, MCSE, PMP, ITIL and COBIT.

Potential faculty should have at least one year of teaching experience online and/or teaching adults in educational environment, and two to five years’ work experience.
