Teaches a variety of computer courses, which could range from specialty in such areas as database, network hardware, network software, PC programming and/or PC repair, to basic computer applications, web design and programming, cyber security, GIS, digital forensics.
Bachelor's degree in a computer, business, or engineering related field. Minimum of two years full-time experience in the computer industry or related field. Proficiency in word-processing and presentation software, Internet and e-mail, CompTIA A+, or Cisco CCNA.

Master’s degree in computer, business, or engineering related field. Current computer industry certification in one of the following areas: CompTIA A+, Security+, Linux+, CIW, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP, MCSD or MCSE) Teaching experience in computer applications and/or software, CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA.

$811 per ESU
This is a part-time (adjunct) faculty position. Part-time faculty are compensated at a rate of $811 per Equated Semester Unit (i.e., approximately $2433 for a 3 credit hour course).
Adjunct faculty positions are ongoing pooled positions. Therefore, your materials will remain on file and be reviewed on an as needed basis for adjunct faculty positions throughout the academic year 2012-2013 (Fall, Spring and Summer Semester).
