CIW Security Analysts configure, manage and deploy e-business solutions servers; and implement e-business and network security solutions. This CIW certification recognizes the achievements of those who have already attained a level of proficiency in networking administration and now want to validate and prove their competencies in security. CIW Security Analyst certification provides focused and streamlined validation of further proficiency in areas pertaining to systems security. CIW Security Analyst certification also demonstrates mastery of core vendor-neutral security skills combined with specialization in chosen software environments.

The CIW Security Analyst Certification recognizes the achievements of network administrators who want to expand into network security. This certification provides focused and streamlined validation of further proficiency in areas pertaining to systems security.
Target audience: Individuals who have already attained a level of proficiency in networking administration and now want to validate and prove their competencies in network security.
Job responsibilities: A CIW Security Analyst can implement security policy, identify security threats, and develop countermeasures using firewall systems and attack-recognition technologies. This specialist will also have competency in managing the deployment of e-business transaction and payment security solutions.
A CIW Security Professional implements security policy, identifies security threats, and develops countermeasures using firewall systems and attack-recognition technologies. This individual is responsible for managing the deployment of e-business transaction and payment security solutions.
Log in to the CIW Certification Information Center using the information from your CIW Security Professional Exam score report. (Allow 2 to 7 business days for your exam results to be transmitted from your testing center to the CIW Candidation Information Center.) Once you have logged in, Click the Certification Agreement link in the left column, and read the agreement. Click the "Yes" option at the bottom of the page, and then click the Submit button.
